“Why are you a companion?”
So plenty of times, I have been asked what led me to become a companion. Honestly, I really don’t know why exactly, but it sort of happened naturally lol. Anytime I get asked this, I start to think of the past and how different I used to be. I understand it’s not the case for EVERYONE, but for me personally, it helped motivate me to do more for myself. Because if you have the mental capacity to do sex work, you really can do anything. A lot of people assume this is easy money, but in reality it is not. The only thing “easy” about it is that women…especially marginalized women are able to make money quicker than regular jobs.
In the past, I used to work endlessly in toxic work environments that did not value my hard work. I would work so many hours and somehow go to school and do everything on my own. School was expensive, and I grew up from a very poor family who lived in a village. So all of this motivated me to just work hard as I never got any handouts. From a young age I was always business-minded and fortunate enough to have a decent amount of money way before I started sex work.
The main reason was it gave me the flexibility to pursue my passions and dreams, including my aspirations in business. Also before doing full-service, I somewhat dabbled in other forms of sex work before going “working online.” The flexibility and freedom that came with being a companion is the main reason I decided to provide companionship. It allowed me to structure my life in a way that aligned with my goals and aspirations. With more time at my disposal, I felt empowered to pursue my interests while thriving in my role.I am very grateful and thankful for everything I have.
I also have a deep respect and appreciation for clients who took a chance on me and who continue to invest in me. The support not only provides me with opportunities but also transformed my perspective on life. In addition, I am now able to help my loved ones more who were not as fortunate as me growing up. This kindness, generosity, and companionship have made a lasting impact on me.
